Beach Wedding Attire – How Do I Choose?

A beach wedding is a beautiful and fun alternative to the traditional wedding (Beach Wedding Attire). Depending on the setting and theme of the wedding, there are many different options available for wedding beach attire. A bride and groom may choose to have a formal wedding at a beach setting or opt for a casual beach-like theme.

Beach Wedding Attire - When the theme of the wedding is chosen, the theme of the attire usually follows. The wedding dress at a beach wedding does not always have to informal or casual. The bridal party can take a formal approach and wear matching dresses and suits. For a causal beach wedding the bridal party could even wear sun dresses and the groomsmen in shorts. Guests can choose a short dress in a floral pattern for a casual day wedding.

Seersucker – The New Cotton for Beach Wedding Attire

Beach weddings are often times less formal than traditional weddings and have a semi-formal feel to them. Beach wedding attire should be fashionable as well as comfortable, especially during the hot summer months.

Seersucker fabric is traditionally a summer and spring wear fabric and can be an excellent choice for a beach wedding as it is light-weight and very easy to care for. Usually, seersucker fabric is thought in the suit style; however there are also options out there for women and even wedding dresses.

Many women’s dresses are also in the seersucker fabric that is a great alternative to the traditional style cotton dresses. Since beach weddings (beach wedding attire) can be very unique in style, seersucker is a great choice in attire.
